Hosting the Haute Couture Austria Award – it’s Fashion Time!
Next to sports and business events, another field has opened up with the topic of fashion. If you have followed my news a little bit so far, you will have noticed that I am quite a sports enthusiast.
Just in the last few months, for example, I have been the event host for the Agon Boxing Gala in Berlin or just recently my first Ski World Cup race in Lech / Zürs as well as from the business world a virtual conference for some of the largest chambers of commerce in the world as well as the Huawei European Innovation Day. The topic of sports & business runs like a thread through my agenda.
Ronny goes Fashion
On January 11th I had the pleasure to host a fashion event for the first time in a long time. In the Steigenberger Hotel Herrenhof in Vienna the Haute Couture Austria Award for fine tailoring was awarded. The 12 best couturiers from Austria competed to showcase their skills, creativity, potential and diversity.
Under the motto “Fire transform us – the Red Label“, a 60-member jury evaluated the haute couture gowns submitted. Unfortunately, only three awards could be presented, although all participating Couturiers could have been winners, as the Federal Guild Master of Fashion and Clothing, Christine Scholl, said.
Glitz & Glamour at the Haute Couture Awards
This year’s testimonial of the Haute Couture Austria Awards was none other than top model Nadine Mirada. Last year’s testimonials Artist Lili Paul Roncalli and Miss Europe Beatrice Körmer also enjoyed the gowns that were presented.
For me, this excursion into the fashion world was something where I definitely felt a desire for more. The scent of the big wide fashion world was in the air and it was simply fun to present an exquisite award gala in a tuxedo.
